From managing the crew to overseeing quality control, scheduling, and on-site decision-making, you will be the backbone of our surfacing team. This is an active, hands-on position where you'll lead by example, train team members, and ensure each project meets our high standards. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee and direct a team of surfacing professionals in applying pool finishes, making necessary repairs, and ensuring quality craftsmanship.</li><li>Create a positive and productive work environment by providing guidance, support, and real-time feedback to crew members.</li><li>Ensure each project is completed according to schedule, budget, and client specifications.</li><li>Inspect and evaluate surfaces before application to confirm proper preparation, including checking for cracks, foreign materials, and other defects.</li><li>Train crew members on proper techniques, tools, and materials for pool resurfacing.</li><li>Ensure all tools, machinery, and materials are properly maintained, organized, and ready for daily use.</li><li>Make quick, informed decisions to address challenges related to materials, weather conditions, or site conditions.</li><li>Work closely with the project manager and other team leaders to ensure smooth coordination of all aspects of the project.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact on job sites, maintaining professional and clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.</li><li>Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring the finished product meets or exceeds expectations.</li></ul>Experience and Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in plastering, pool surfacing, and pebble application.</li><li>Strong leadership and management skills, with prior experience leading crews in a construction or surfacing setting.</li><li>Deep understanding of cementitious coatings, resurfacing techniques, and quality control measures.</li><li>Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively.</li><li>High level of attention to detail, particularly in inspecting surfaces, managing materials, and ensuring a uniform finish.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.</li><li>Experience training and mentoring field staff, ensuring consistency in workmanship and adherence to best practices.</li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.</li><li>Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to job sites within Missouri and neighboring states as needed.</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Full Time Position</li><li>Base salary starts at $80,000-$100,000 per year, plus additional incentives based on project performance and experience.</li><li>Medical stipend provided, with full health insurance options coming soon.</li><li>Employer-matched retirement plan to help you plan for the future.</li><li>Paid Time Off and Holidays</li><li>Per diem and hotel accommodations are provided for projects requiring overnight travel.</li><li>Technology reimbursement for work-related devices such as phones or tablets.</li></ul>Apply Today!We are looking for dedicated professionals who are ready to take their skills to the next level and lead high-quality pool resurfacing projects.
