Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

Overview:

The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is the backbone of maintaining a functional warehouse space and is crucial to optimizing the results of the field crew. This person will maintain stock, optimize and maintain organization, and assist with getting crews out the door. This role works closely with the office staff to order supplies, meet and maintain safety standards, and develop systems for maintenance logs, tool retention, and communicating between the field crew and the office. 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop organization plan for warehouse in conjunction with Owner and Operations staff 
  • Maintain organization in all areas of the warehouse and surrounding areas 
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse 
  • Assist and/or lead the unloading of deliveries 
  • Assist and/or lead the loading and unloading of materials for field crews
  • Regularly maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance on power tools and other small equipment
  • Monitor materials moving in and out of the warehouse
  • Maintains OSHA Safety certifications obtained through JPS 
  • Ensures that assigned tasks are performed safely and with the highest level of quality
  • Effectively communicates with the Owner and/or Operations Manager in areas such as safety, quality, and integrity
  • Play a key role in developing Standard Operating Procedures for the warehouse
  • Employee may be expected to perform other duties as assigned


Job Competencies:

  • Ability to work for extended periods of time in extreme temperature environments, as well as prolonged periods of standing and working in such conditions
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures while understanding detailed instructions and directions provided
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to perform basic math and to communicate effectively via reading and writing
  • Strong organization skills
  • Takes initiative and works well with minimal supervision
  • Working Environment:
  • Large industrial tools, cleaning equipment, materials, and machinery used
  • Periodically use computers for training purposes, researching or purchasing materials, inventory tracking
  • Working conditions: extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, flexible schedules, early hours (or late as preferred)


Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of general laborer experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Reliable transportation to and from worksite located in Grandview
  • Physically able to perform assigned task
  • Experience with forklift a plus
  • Bilingual preferred
